exploring fashionspace.com

If you've been following the blog for some time, you may have seen my fashion posts consisting of "looks." For example, I made a cute board for fourth of July last year (which will soon be relevant again, how do you like that?). Such posts take a substantial amount of time -- find the components, post them to an image, remove backgrounds, adjust adjust adjust, post. That's where fashionspace.com comes in. I just discovered this site through another blogger and decided to give it a try (you can see my example below).
Here's my issues with it: first of all, it doesn't look as nice, right? The text is kind of blurred. Also, I couldn't figure out how to bring in my own items. It seems like you have to use only what they have on the site (and I was not super impressed by the items they have thus far -- I really don't like much of what's in this board, except maybe that mint dress, but I was going for a pastels theme). I do like that it includes the items with links underneath. It also allows monetization (obviously I'm all about monetization). It's also easy to embed in your blog.

I think this is a great idea to help out bloggers, but it definitely needs some work. Why not check it out for yourself?
